Health Update
For those of you following my super fun health journey, I have some exciting news…
I was referred by a client to a doctor in Missouri whom I visited last week for the first time.
Dr. Crist has been practicing medicine for over 30 years and has helped over 12,000 patients with tick-borne illnesses, hormones, metabolism, allergies, pain and so on.
He gave me enough blood test lab orders to save a life (haha), most of which no other doctor has tested for.
He also started me on an antibiotic protocol for a “lyme-like” infection based on my symptoms. He gave many other recommendations for supplements, probiotics and other therapies/tests if needed. All test results should be back within a month.
No guarantees of course, but I’m so grateful to have something worth trying.

Meal Planning for Weight Loss
How do you consistently lose weight every week while still being able to have the foods and drinks that you love?
Meal planning.
And how do you make sure you’re eating the right amount of fat, protein, carbs and calories without having to spend hours doing math??
Food tracking apps such as, MyFitness Pal. (This isn’t the one I use tho.)
Meal planning is one thing that I have done off and on for years to lose weight and keep it off. Even today, I meal plan to make sure I’m eating enough calories and protein for weight gain/ muscle building.
And when it comes to food tracking apps, I prefer to add my meals in advance so that I can allow room for the foods/drinks I love most.
It just never made sense to me to add food as I was eating it. By 2:00 I would find myself out of calories for the day, hungry and pissed off…
If you’re trying to pay off debt or save up for a big expense, you would try to have a plan right??
You would plan out what you need to buy and make room for fun expenses plus your savings and debt expenses… So why wouldn’t you do the same with weight loss?
If you’re trying to lose weight then you need a plan.
And within that plan there needs to be at least 3 things.
These are the things I have observed over the years that should get the most focus when trying to lose weight:
Protein
Whole Foods
Blood Sugar Balance
